The Orphanages
There are Seven Orphanages located throughout Bali. In those seven caring, nurturing homes children from desperately poor circumstances are nurtured and grown into fine, self-sufficient members of the Balinese society.

Widhya Asih Orphanage VII
The smallest and newest (founded in 1999) of the seven orphanages is located in Karangasem Regency, about three hours from Denpasar. The 16 children living here attend local junior and senior high schools. Ideally, this facility would be relocated to a more suitable building and expanded to accommodate at least 30 children. Estimated cost: approximately $22,000.
