The Orphanages

There are Seven Orphanages located throughout Bali. In those seven caring, nurturing homes children from desperately poor circumstances are nurtured and grown into fine, self-sufficient members of the Balinese society.

Widhya Asih Orphanage III

Located in Singaraja, in the north central part of Bali and its second largest city, this orphanage houses approximately 110 children ranging in age from 5 to 22.  Important needs at this location include:

  • Build simple rooms to house additional University students ($6,000)
  • Establish an agriculture training center ($10,000)
  • Purchase additional land for farming, kitchen construction, an herbal garden ($27,500)
  • Create an herbal garden health clinic ($11,000)
  • Build a three-story building to create the capacity for additional children ($75,000)
